The old way, made new

  • a little about me

My name is Tuva Sandok. A 25 year old, based in Oslo, Norway. As a person I am very passionate, I really pour my soul into everything my hands touch. I love creating something out of nothing. I share my passions online and my goal is for you to leave my account feeling inspired to create something. Crafting is what has shaped me into who I am today. Thank you for visiting, hope you would like to stay for a while<3
  • The start

It all started with me needing a hobby. I’ve always been creative, but never really knew what that was for. I picked up crochet first (thank you, YouTube), then stumbled into knitting… and that was it. It was the rhythm, the focus, the weirdly satisfying feeling of making something out of nothing. Suddenly, I couldn’t stop.
  • The name

Sandok is my last name and the name I chose because it reflects something personal. The name I chose carries a sense of home. It’s a thread that ties me to my roots, my family, and the quiet craft of knitting passed down through generations. Using it felt like honoring where I come from while creating something new.
  • The yarn

I’m picky about yarn, in the best way. I work with fibers that are kind to the planet and lovely to knit with. Think natural, sustainable, and full of soul. If it feels amazing in your hands and wears well for years, it’s a yes from me. Because great patterns deserve great yarn.
  • The patterns

My patterns are made with a modern eye and a handmade heart. A little bit of tradition, a little bit of play. They're rooted in traditional knitting, but with shapes, textures, and details that feel fresh and wearable. Think of them as love letters to the craft: Familiar enough to feel like home, but with just enough twist to keep things interesting.
  • The vision and goal

To create knitting patterns that bridge the old and the new, rooted in craft, shaped for now. I want to inspire a new generation of makers to slow down, make with intention, and find joy in the process. It’s about clothes that mean something, and the calm that comes with creating them. I want keep things thoughtful: In the fibers I choose, the way I write, and the values I build around.
