Canvas Cardi is a timeless staple cardigan that can easily be dressed up or down, just as perfect for everyday wear as it is for special occasions. Choose ready made buttons or create your own to add a personal touch with details that truly speak to you. A blank canvas made just for you!

 

ABOUT THE GARMENT

The cardigan is worked flat from the top down with raglan increases shaping the yoke, and finished with a wide, high ribbed hem that gives it a modern look. The sleeves are worked in the round and finished with the same ribbing as the body for a cohesive finish. You can choose between a high collar or folding it down and sewing it in place, depending on the look you prefer. Finally, stitches are picked up for the button bands before the buttons are sewn on, adding the perfect finishing touch.

Size guide:

Canvas Cardi is designed to be worn with approximately + 30 cm of positive ease at the bust to achieve the same look as shown in the photos.

Measure yourself before you begin knitting to determine the best size for you. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your upper body), size S will give you the same fit as shown in the photos.

If you prefer a more oversized fit, choose a size with a larger finished circumference than your own measurements. For a closer fit, choose a smaller size.

 

Gauge: 10 stitches in width in stockinette stitch on 8 mm needles = 10 cm

 

Recommended needles:

8 mm circular needle (40 and 80 and/or 100 cm)

7 mm circular needle (40 and 80 and/or 100 cm)


Yarn requirements:
